One month!!!1!!11!!!!1! (plus three days)

I just took a look at the Sixty Feet, Six Inches archives, and realized that we're just past our one month anniversary -- thus, I'm taking it upon myself to craft a commemorative post. To be honest, it seems like it's been way longer than that. I guess that's just the time warp of summer, but I feel like this site has never not existed. That's probably a good thing, because I think that in the past month this site has taken shape pretty nicely, and we've all started to find our voices as sportswriters.

The site's changed a ton in such a short time. We've already been through four layouts, three color schemes, and two addresses. We added a writer, and to be honest the fit has been so seamless that I can't even remember how we operated without Nate. We have our own domain name now, so the site feels a bit more permanent and legitimate. We've been linked by some pretty reputable sources, like Rays Index, Baseball Musings, and Where Have You Gone, Andy Van Slyke? And we're working on getting some more good press (for example, I'm working up the nerve to send a link to Deadspin, though I fear that may be akin to opening the very gates of Hell themselves).

The long and short of it is that we are enjoying this so far, and have no plans on stopping. You, the readers, have been awesome thus far, and we hope that your numbers will be increasing in the next few weeks. We'll keep writing if you keep reading. Oh, and I bet Peter and Nate will have stuff to add, so check the comments on this post.

Thanks for your support. Peace be with you all.
